ST HELENS Star Premiership leaders Shoe had to pull out all the stops to save their unbeaten start to the season but they forfeited their 100 per cent situation by being held 3-3 at home at Parr Stocks to Hotel Windle.
The Dragon, who could have jumped above Shoe with a win, had to settle with a 2-2 stalemate over at Stars, Glover and Lyon on the mark for stars.

Another of last seasons promoted clubs, Sony, still fighting for their first win, were soundly beaten 2-6 by British Lion, Paul Adams and John Walsh on target for Sony. In a nine-goal thriller at Ecclesfield Gerard Arms (Barratt, Moore, Arkwright, Wilde) came second best by 4-5 to unbeaten Dragon Reserves.
Second placed Rifle, having won five in a row following their early season struggle, were well and truly spanked at Wheatsheaf Avenue, going under 4-1.
Mark Clark (2), Jason Naiman and Brian Nuttall goals sealed the game for Sidac Social Reserves.
Liam Hynes scored the only goal that gave Prescot Leisure Reserves the points in a 1-0 home win over Roundhouse that keeps them at the top of the Division.
Top Nogs are firmly at the summit of the Hatton Travel Division Two following their narrow 4-3 win over Carborundum Eagles due to goals from Unsworth, Martin, Riley and Moon.
