FOXES are carnivores and some of their food is rabbits.
In a lifetime of, say three years, a fox could kill 400 rabbits. I doubt if this is humane killing.
If foxes must not be killed by huntsmen, then either they multiply and become vermin or else farmers have to spend time shooting them.
A non-fatal bullet can be just as painful as death from a hunt.
Since the Animal Rights lobby chooses to protect only one animal, the fox, I must assume their campaign is against what they see as upper classes and has little to do with animals.
Or is the government so vain that it thinks it can tell foxes to go vegetarian!
Once again, government should leave things alone.
