IF your little ones enjoyed the success of the town centre ice rink, why not get them in training for next year with special parent and toddler sessions held at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
The popular ice-skating rink at The Arena is set to introduce brand new parent and toddler sessions, specifically designed for the under 5s to familiarise themselves on the ice.
Toddlers can bring their parents along to a session and have fun on the ice whilst learning a new activity and improving balance and coordination.
Fully qualified instructors are on hand throughout and there's organised games throughout the session to entertain the youngsters.
Joanne Conway, Head Coach at The Arena, who will be supervising the events, said; "The sessions are designed to be fun but are also practical, particularly if ice skating is chosen as a future hobby or career. Introducing children to the ice at such a young age eliminates fear of the ice and gives them a definite advantage if professional Skate UK classes are taken up later in life."
The sessions take place Monday between 10.30am and 11.30am. Mums and dads are welcome regardless of skating ability. Sessions cost £3.50 plus £1.50 skate hire and the Arena have a special selection of tiny ice boots designed for small people.
