WHAT a load of rubbish that letter about nappies was!
My wheelie bin is hardly overflowing with my four-month-old daughter's Pampers and I don't think she has been responsible for a refuse collector's hernia.
Perhaps your reader would want to go back to the good old days of high infant mortality, tin baths in front of the fire and a wife permanently elbow deep in dirty nappies (pre equal rights).
We pay our way in the form of income and council tax and recycle what we can. Perhaps your reader should turn their attention to the free disposal of dog muck or the cost of fly tipping.
Leave the babies alone and remember, sometimes progress is an improvement.
