COULD I through your columns say how disgusted I am with our council.
Going to Mass on Boxing Day in Blackbrook Road, a road that is one of the town's busiest, was one big skating rink. One car hit two parked cars damaging both. Then a car turning into the church drive was hit by a skidding car sending it on to the path near were I was walking.
Coming out of church I went to cross the road when the lights were red. Half way across, a car came towards me with the driver waving his hands like mad shouting "I can't stop". Next a taxi trying to turn into Ashurst Drive started spinning like a top. By this time it was 11am and not a gritter to be seen.
I would just like to ask, is life not worth the price of one day a year gritter?
