AFTER strong ticket sales, the Theatre Royal has announced that 'the Snow must go on!' and extended this year's sell-out pantomime for a further week.
'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' was scheduled to finish on Sunday 9 January, but due to popular demand it will continue to be 'all white on the night' for another four performances.
Jane Joseph, Director of the Theatre Royal, said, "Thanks to the people of St Helens and a great cast, Snow White has proved a runaway success.
"All the team have been terrific but Danny McCall has proved to be a real star and his impressions are fantastic. He's brought characters from Little Britain, I'm A Celebrity, and of course X Factor's Simon Cowell to life on stage and the audience really love him.
"Due to phenomenal demand we have added extra shows this weekend, and after the theatre's major refurbishment, we are especially delighted to be the only local venue to extend their pantomime run this year."
