AS part of its commitment to providing accessible performances for a range of theatre events, The Lowry is offering free tickets for Perrier Award nominated comedian Lee Mack on Fri 21January to those who would benefit from a signed performance in return for feedback.

The Lowry's Theatres Programmer, Louise Ormerod, explains: "We are really keen to expand our access provision so this is an ideal opportunity to give people the chance to experience signed comedy. Their feedback is very important to us as we are continuously looking to improve our customer service."

Lee Mack's stand-up show follows on from The Lowry's first ever signed stand-up comedy performance last Autumn by Adam Hills which proved hugely popular. The presence of the signer makes the performance accessible to people who are hearing impaired as well as providing a fascinating experience for a hearing crowd.

Lee Mack has recently starred alongside Frasier and Cheers legend, Kelsey Grammar in a brand new American version of the BAFTA winning The Sketch Show, and he brings his sell out show from the Melbourne and Edinburgh comedy festivals to Salford Quays for one night only. In 2002, Lee performed at the Royal Variety Performance in front of Her Majesty the Queen alongside stars such as Shania Twain, Enrique Iglesias and Bob Monkhouse.

For those who would like the opportunity to see this show for FREE and would benefit from a signed performance, we have a limited number of tickets available. Customers simply need to ring the box office managers line on 0161 876 2010 or use the minicom service (0161 876 2002) and quote Lee Mack signed performance. All we ask in return is that they provide feedback on The Lowry's access provision.
