A 17-YEAR-OLD girl has been charged with robbery from a taxi driver in October and a 22-year-old man is also being questioned about the incident.
Cabbie Phil Royle, 53, allegedly had a brick smashed in his face when he was robbed in Argyle Street, Cowley Hill, at about 1am on Saturday, October 16.
He was left with facial wounds and needed part of his ear 'gluing' back on. The girl charged with robbery, who is from Eccleston, is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court. The man from Newton-le-Willows arrested by police was still being questioned as the Star went to press.
