A HEADTEACHER from St Helens has been chosen as the regional representative for a national research project into the future of learning.
Kevin Cooney, head of Garswood Training School, is one of ten education leaders to join the National College for School Leadership's year-long study.
He said: "This project is about exploring what teaching works in real depth, and then sharing this practice so that we can develop practical solutions to work across the school system."
Launched in 2002, the initiative will influence government education policy and promotes reform in certain schools and colleges.
