TINY Tin Lady are gearing up for a busy summer of live gigs, with performances at some of the UK's biggest festivals and a rumour that Glastonbury may be on the cards.

Word about town is that the popular St Helens based folk band have been booked to play the acoustic tent at Glastonbury 2005, a stage that last year welcomed the likes of Love With Arthur Lee, The Hothouse Flowers and Suzanne Vega.

Since their amazing performance at Cropredy last year, Tiny Tin Lady have become the fastest rising band on the acoustic scene.

Kick starting this year's festival season in style, Danni Gibbins, Beth Gibbins and Helen Holmes will play two of the UK's biggest Easter music events.

Good Friday in Gosport sees TTL line up alongside folk icon Ralph McTell while on Easter Saturday in Poynton, they link up again with the legendary Fairport Convention.

Danni says, "It's gonna be a long drive but it'll be worth it. They're both great events & it'll be wonderful to see Fairport and Ralph again"

Beth adds, "Last summer was brilliant but this one looks like being even better as we're better known now & we're headlining shows of our own."

TTL have been confirmed for six more major festivals including a triumphant return to the massive Trowbridge Festival.

The girls have been working with producer and keyboard wizard Tom McGrath at Tangent Studio and the band's debut album is nearing completion.

Tom says, "The girls have been a joy to work with in the studio. They're complete professionals and we had great fun experimenting with different styles and sounds".

Bernie Forkin, Manager of Tiny Tin Lady, said, "The album is virtually done and we're in discussion with a couple of labels but, contrary to rumour, we haven't signed anything yet. When we do, you'll be the first to know..."
