DEBONAIRES Dance Club will be celebrating their next step to the much-loved cabaret ballroom 'The Regency Room', with a grand opening on 1 April.
Keith and Claire Morris, who run Debonaires, currently hold ballroom and Latin dance classes at St Mary's Social Club in Billinge.
But as the new owners of The Regency Room they are proud to be bringing their popular dance lessons and social events to the famous venue, renowned for its line-up of quality entertainment and intimate candlelight setting.
Keith, who has 25 years experience of teaching dance in St Helens, said, "We have enjoyed our time running classes at St Mary's for the last 18 months and are looking forward to bringing Debonaires to the Regency Room where we will expand our current programme of classes.
"We are committed to maintaining the high standards that have made the Regency Room a popular and well-run venue on the cabaret circuit".
The Regency Room hosts cabaret nights on Fridays and Saturdays twice monthly and has welcomed tributes to the likes of The Rat Pack, Shirley Bassey, Bee Gees, the Beatles and Barry White. Membership is free and members are encouraged to wear smart casual dress and dance the night away!
Watch out for further details of the many classes that will be available in different styles and open to all ages. Debonaires will also be launching a new website in the near future where you will be able to find details of all classes, events and forthcoming cabaret evenings.
The venue also caters for Christmas parties, weddings, birthdays and all manner of celebrations. For further information please contact Keith or Claire on 01744 759466 or email debonaires@btopenworld.com
