POWERFUL running from the Pilks forwards laid the platform for this well deserved win. Pilks opened the scoring after an astute kick from stand off Ryan Rogers, rebounded off the upright and fullback Ian Johnson first to react, diving over just to the left of the posts. Ryan Rogers converted the try making it 6 - 0.

Thatto then levelled the scores, eventually breaking down the Pilks solid defence, with a well worked try.

Ste Haughton squeezed past three defenders from acting half to score.

Ryan Rogers converted to increase Pilks lead to 12 - 6. Thatto scored again just before half time.
