IN December I was admitted to Ward G3 Whiston Hospital for a knee replacement to be performed by Mr Manning.

I would like to place on record my sincere thanks, gratitude and admiration for everyone involved. That is from the staff on the pre-op assessment unit where I had many extra tests and checks done due to my cardiac problem, through to my admittance to G3.

The never-ending care, kindness and professionalism of the nursing, physio and auxiliary staff, also the staff in HDU and last though of course not least Mr Manning, his team and the many other doctors who looked after me.

Again thank you to all concerned for what they did and how they did it.
