NEWTON-based soccer ace Kellie Leyland's career takes a further step up the international ladder when she makes her full Northern Ireland debut against England next month.
The 18-year-old has been called up to play in the open age Algarve Cup tournament, which features four games in 10 days.
The full international call-up is just part of a busy schedule for the Garswood Saints centre back. In April Kellie, who is skipper of the Northern Ireland under 19s, heads off to Switzerland for the group stages of the under 19s European Championships.
Kellie leaves for America in July to undertake a four-year scholarship, doing a PhD at West Hartford University.
