LIONS took full advantage of a weakened Miners side to run in 11 tries in this easy victory.
The visitors, though, deserve the highest credit for fulfilling the fixture despite arriving with just 10 players, later made up to 12 with the enlisting of a couple of spectators as recruits!
Simon Dingsdale (2), Paul Martin (2), Dek Hall (2), Ian Penketh (2) and Jimmy Dyson scored Lions' tries, with Dingsdale adding seven conversion and Martin Griffiths one.
Paul Martin won the Birkett Motors man-of-the-match for Lions, with Simon Dingsdale taking the players' player award.
