THE UK's largest Irish Festival celebrates its tenth birthday in Manchester this year and promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a twelve-day extravaganza of music, dancing, drinking and comedy from 5-17 March.
The city's favourite festival brings over a million people together to enjoy the best in Irish culture- from exciting new musical talent, workshops and ceilis, to comedians and actors. The event culminates in the mile long St Patrick Day Parade that brings over 40 floats from Irish associations from across the North West.
Following the sell out success of their double bill concert with the Pogues at Manchester Arena, The Saw Doctors will play a one-off concert at Manchester Apollo on Saturday 12 March as part of the Tenth Manchester Irish Festival celebrations. Tickets are available from www.gigsandtours.com or by telephoning 0870 401 8000.
