THE first evening in August is the penultimate ‘Ready To Race’ night at Haydock Park Racecourse.
The fourth Ladies’ Evening of the Summer is also the final opportunity for the ‘best dressed racegoer’ to win a Jeep Patriot for 12 months from dealer MTB Motors.
The person chosen on Friday will go into a final seven days later, along with those selected at the first three Ladies’ Evenings, to win the car.
Ladies can also receive tips from Harvey Nichols on fashion, style, hair and beauty as well as getting the chance to take part in a fashion show. The theme for the evening is ‘Manage Your Mane’.
The ‘Ready To Race’ nights are promoted by champion jockey Jamie Spencer and assistant racehorse trainer Francesca Cumani.
Racing starts at 6.10pm on Friday, August 1 with the Kevin Darley Apprentice Handicap Stakes, named after one of the most popular jockeys from the North who retired as a rider at the end of the 2007 Flat racing season.
