THERE are "severe" delays on the M6 this morning due to lanes being closed because of a broken down vehicle.
The M6 is seeing congestion southbound between junctions 22 and 21.

Live traffic tracker INRIX stated as of 10am: "M6 Merseyside
"Severe delays and two lanes closed due to broken down vehicle on M6 Southbound from J22 A49 Winwick Link Road (Newton Le Willows) to J21A M62 J10 (Croft Interchange).
"Travel time is one hour and 20 minutes."
