AN AWARD-WINNING beautician has added another prestigious award to her impressive collection after honing her craft in St Helens.

With a passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful, Dominika Jędrzejczak began to develop a reputation as a respected mobile nail technician after moving to St Helens from Poland around 11 years ago.

Launching her first shop in Thatto Heath in December 2021, Dominika's business quickly outgrew the salon's space and she moved into a bigger and better premises with the launch of 'Golden Beauty' along College Street in St Helens town centre in February 2023.

Attracting a vibrant mix of Polish-speaking and English-speaking clients, Dominika has been nominated and won various awards in recent years, and was recently named the UK's top nail technician at a prestigious ceremony earlier this month.

Highlighting her skill and respect in the industry, 'Dominika Nails' has already been recognised in national and international awards ceremonies, and was named the 'Nail Technician of the Year' at the Beauty and Skin Care Awards on Saturday, November 9.

Showcasing the best in beauty industry, Dominika was also shortlisted in the top ten nail artists at the awards ceremony.

Since launching her St Helens town centre studio, Dominika has also expanded the business with training courses, and the 32-year-old was shortlisted in the 'Educator of the Year' category.

“When my husband and I decided to come to England, I knew that I wanted to do nails.

“Someone once said that if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life and this is so true.”
