PLANS for three flats in Rainhill have been given the green light.
An application proposing the change of use of the site, 74 Rainhill Road, from a dwelling to three flats – along with a proposed rear dormer and associated external alterations – has been approved, subject to conditions.
According to the officer report, the application relates to a two storey, mid-terraced dwelling.
It said the proposed change of use will create flat one at ground floor which will comprise one double bedroom, with a bathroom and an open plan living/kitchen/dining room, as well as access to an existing garage.
“The rear garden area will also be restricted for flat one’s use only,” it added.
“Flat two will be created at first floor and would comprise of one single bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living/kitchen/dining room.
“Flat three will be partially split across the first and second floor, with a bathroom provided at first floor, and one single bedroom and an open plan living/kitchen/dining room provided at first floor.
“All three flats will have a shared front entrance from Rainhill Road, with separated internal access to each of the flats.
“The proposal rear dormer will project 4.17m outwards and have a total width of 4.88m and a total height of 2.3m. Two windows are proposed to the main face and the proposed dormer will comprise of a flat roof.”
