A MAN has been charged with drink driving after crashing on the slip road of the M57.
At around 8.15pm on Friday, November 22, a Ford Fiesta is reported to have collided with the barrier and crashed on the slip road of junction 2 on the M57 near Prescot.
Significant damage was caused to the vehicle but no injuries have been reported. No other vehicles are reported to have been involved.

Following the collision, Merseyside Police's Roads Policing Unit announced that a man had tested positive on a road side breathalyser.
Police have now confirmed that Thomas Ryan, 29, of Rydal Avenue, Prescot, has been charged with drink driving and bailed to appear in court on Tuesday, December 10.
While they were dealing with the collision, officers also reported that vehicles continued to drive down the hard shoulder on the M57 despite the road closures that were installed.
Eight vehicles are said to have been reported.
