St Helens Borough Council has introduced 'Affordable Warmth & Welfare Drop-in Sessions' to support residents during the colder months.
The sessions are being held every Monday until December 16 at the North Community Hub in Moss Bank Library, from 10am to 2pm.
The programme aligns with the library’s Winter Warmer Coffee Mornings, "offering a warm, welcoming environment for the community."
An initial set of additional dates across various community hubs in the borough has also been announced, with more locations to follow.
The dates include Chester Lane Library on November 28 (12pm to 4pm), Newton Library on December 3 (11am to 3pm), and Eccleston Library on December 5 (11am to 3pm).
At the sessions, residents can receive advice and support related to affordable warmth, including benefit maximisation.
Partner organisations Energy Projects Plus, the Carers Centre, and the Department for Work and Pensions will provide additional advice and resources.
A council spokesperson encouraged people to check the council's social media channels for further updates on drop-in sessions.
