TWO town centre buildings - one of which houses a restaurant - are being put up for auction as an "investment opportunity".
The two-storey corner properties, numbers 4 and 6 of George Street, St Helens are made up of two commercial units.
One is being used as a clothes shop and the other is used as a restaurant.
Both are on long-term leases, bringing in rental income, a property listing on Rightmove states.
The buildings are going up for auction with Sutton Kersh, with a guide price of £100,000.
The listing on Rightmove adds that the sites will go up for online auction on Thursday, December 12.
The upper floor "is used as ancillary accommodation but has potential for use as a HMO or flat conversion subject to gaining any necessary consents".
The property is situated close to the Hardshaw Centre and St Helens bus station, which will be flattened to make way for a huge St Helens regeneration project.
It is a short distance from St Helens Central railway station and other shops and bars in the George Street quarter.
