FIREWORKS have been let off and a fundraising page has been set up - all in memory of a young man who died suddenly on Saturday at Sutton Mill Dam.
Jayke Uzell, 23, was found near Sutton Mill Dam off Mill Brow, Sutton Leach at around 7.25am on Saturday, November 16.
Jayke was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is being treated by police as unexplained but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
Floral tributes have also been left at the scene, while last night fireworks were set off at Sutton Park in memory of him.
A GoFundMe page has since been set up to help his family with the cost of the funeral.
The fundraiser, organised by Millie Smith, said: "I would like to raise as much money as possible to help Jaykes family with funeral costs at this very heartbreaking time for them.
"Jayke sadly passed away on 16/11/2024 unexpectedly and his family are broken. Please donate as much or as little as you would like , all funds will help and be massively appreciated. Rest in peace Jayke Uzell, forever young, forever loved."
