An 11-year-old has been taken to hospital as a “precautionary measure” after being struck by a vehicle close to Victoria Park.
Officers were called to the scene at the junction of Cowley Hill Lane and Bishop Road at around 4.25pm to report of a collision between a Nissan Note and a child aged 11.
Emergency services are still at the scene, the child has been taken to hospital with Merseyside Police stating this is as a “precautionary measure” adding that the child is not believed to be in a serious condition.
Road closures are in place in the area.
