A POLICE cordon is in place after the sudden death of a man at Sutton Mill Dam.
Officers this morning, Saturday, November 16 were contacted at 7.25am following reports that the man had been found at the dam off Mill Brow in Sutton Leach.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace the man’s next of kin.
At this time the death is being treated as unexplained but there are not currently believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
Several police vehicles and a fire engine are on the Mill Brow entrance to the site, with cordons closing all entrances to the dam.
