A MAN and woman accused of possessing criminal property have made a first court appearance.

Richard Platt, 39, and Natalie Walsh, 37, appeared before Liverpool Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, November 6. 

Platt, of St Matthews Grove, Thatto Heath, is charged with possession of criminal property, namely £1,000 from a bank transfer on March 30 this year.

Meanwhile, Walsh, of Cumberland Avenue, Portico, is accused of possessing criminal property, namely £3,000 via a bank transfer.

During the hearing, district judge Clarke sent the case to be dealt with by Liverpool Crown Court.

Both defendants were granted unconditional bail until their next scheduled hearing.

Platt and Walsh are next due to appear before Liverpool Crown Court for a hearing on Wednesday, December 4.
