A MAN who was in charge of a Rottweiler that was dangerously out of control has been sentenced.
Frederick Bolton, of Scott Avenue, Sutton Manor, appeared before Liverpool Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 5.
Bolton, 36, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control.
A court sheet states that the particulars of the offence are that on September 29 this year, Bolton was in charge of a dog, named Zeus, a black and tan Rottweiler, which was dangerously out of control in Scott Avenue.

Magistrates gave Bolton a conditional discharge, for a period of 12 months.
This is a sentence that allows an offender to be released from court without further action, provided they don't commit any more crimes during a specified period.
Bolton's guilty plea was taken into account upon sentencing.
He was also made to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £40, and a surcharge of £26.
