A LARGE police presence descended on to grassland this afternoon following a report of a concern for safety of a woman.
Police were seen in attendance at a field, off Two Butt Lane, in Rainhill today, Monday, November 11, shortly after 2pm.

There were 10 police vehicles seen in the area.
When asked about this, a police spokesman said officers were called to "a report of concern for the safety of a woman", who had been a hospital patient, at just before 2.10pm.
He added that the woman was found around 30 minutes later and returned to hospital.
The Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We were called just before 2.10pm to a report of concern for the safety of a woman.
"She was located at around 2.40pm and returned to hospital, where she had been a patient."
