A POLICE helicopter was called out following the pursuit of a stolen motorbike.
A police presence was seen in the area of Marshalls Cross Road, near to the Cyclops junction on Sunday evening, November 3.
Residents in Sutton also reported seeing a police helicopter flying above the area.
When asked about their presence in the area, a police spokeswoman said there had been a pursuit of a stolen motorbike.
During the chase, the rider abandoned the bike and made off on foot.
The police helicopter attended and searches of the surrounding area were carried out.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said; "At around 7.30pm on Sunday, November 3 police were in pursuit of a suspected stolen in St Helens.
"The motorbike was followed and the rider dropped the bike and then made off on foot.
"The police helicopter was deployed and carried out a search of the surrounding area."
