Earlier this year, roast dinners were on the menu as we searched for St Helens’ best in dozens of categories.
We wanted to know who served the town’s best British classic and, following your nominations and suggestions, we shortlisted St Helens’ top seven.
Yorkshire puddings filled with gravy, crispy roast potatoes and tender slices of meat that melt in the mouth – roast dinners have been a staple meal on Sundays for hundreds of years.
Whether it’s for lunch or evening meal, the traditional roast is a firm favourite but where can hungry people get the best that St Helens has to offer?
The Moss Bank, on Moss Bank Road, was the runaway winner, topping the table for roast dinners, but here are St Helens’ top seven Sunday bests, as chosen by you, our readers.
