Drivers in and around St Helens will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M62, from 9pm September 16 to 5am December 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 both directions J7 to J6 - lane closure for drainage.
And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks: • M62, from 9pm October 28 to 7am November 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 8 to 7 - lane closures and slip road closures for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal on behalf of National Highways.
• A580, from 8am to 6pm on November 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M6, junction 23 roundabout to A580 westbound, link road Lane one closure due to evacuation works for mua Electricity.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
