POLICE have confirmed that the death of a man at a property is not suspicious.
Officers had attended Billinge Crescent, Blackbrook, on Sunday evening, October 20, after the ambulance service had been called earlier in the day.
The body of a man was found at the property.
Following this, a police spokeswoman said the death was being treated as "unexplained".
In a statement on Monday, October 21, a Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We can confirm officers were called to house on Billinge Crescent in St Helens yesterday, Sunday, October 20, following the attendance of NWAS earlier in the day.
"Officers attended the property at around 9.45pm and found the body of a man.
"His death is currently being treated as unexplained and a report is being prepared for the Coroner’s Office."

After being asked for an update, a Merseyside Police spokesman has confirmed that the man's death is "non-suspicious".
A file has been passed on to the coroner, he added.
