HERE are details of eight road closures in force at some point over the coming week due to works.

 

Broad Oak Road, Parr

St Helens Council is to carry out carriageway resurfacing on Sunday, November 3

These will be at the roundabout at Newton Road.

Ormskirk Road, Rainford

United Utilities is carrying out repairs to the sewer from the Rainford Bypass to Dairy Farm Road

There will be a closure from Thursday, October 24 to Thursday, November 14.

Joseph Street, Sutton

Scottish Power are carrying out repairs to fix an electricity fault at the junction with Robins Lane. 

These will be from Saturday, October 26 to Friday, November 15.

Mercer Street, Newton-le-Willows

St Helens Council is carrying out carriageway resurfacing from Walmesley Street to Park Road North.

This will be from Monday, October 28 to Friday, November 1.

Sutton Road

Howard Civil Engineering care carrying out remedial works from Wednesday, October 30 to Friday, November 1.

There will be a closure approaching Baxters Lane Roundabout.

Leyland Green Road, Garswood

St Helens Council is undertaking carriageway resurfacing from Wednesday, October 30 to Friday, November 1. 

These will be from Garswood Road to Birch Grove.

Queens Road, Haydock 

St Helens Council will be doing carriageway resurfacing works on the full length of the road.

These are scheduled from Friday, November 1 to Tuesday, November 5.

Clispsley Lane, Haydock

Carriageway resurfacing works will be undertaken by St Helens Council on Sunday, November 3, and November 10 from Wagon Lane to Haydock Lane.
