A PAIR of kind-hearted brothers wanted to do something out of the ordinary to make sure other families have a special Christmas.
Concerned about other children who may not have any presents to open on Christmas Day, six-year-old Luca Callaghan was adamant that he wanted to do something to help.
Deciding to sell his toys to bring smiles to other families on Christmas Day, Luca spent his Sunday afternoon at his makeshift toy stall, along with his little brother Xander and dad Andy.
Setting up the toy stall around Hesketh Court and Church Road in Rainford, the boys managed to raise £100 from their toy sale after Andy publicised their selfless project on social media.
With the young Callaghan's selling all of their toys on to passing families, Andy said that they will direct the money raised to Rainford Church Hall or a charity who can use the cash to pay for more presents.

Andy, a sales manager from Rainford, said: "I'm not sure where Luca's idea came from but I think he heard at school about the kids who aren't lucky enough to wake up with Christmas presents.
"He started saying he had a dream that he needs to sell his toys to help people so I set up the stall for him.
"I don't think I did anything like this when I was a kid so we are very proud of them, and they were so happy to see how much money they raised.
"They're both very kind, happy, loveable boys, and the response this had might encourage them to do other things like it in the future."
