During the works - which is expected to last a week - all traffic signal poles and heads will also be replaced with new ones.
To accommodate the scheme, the junction will operate under temporary traffic lights, with the right-turn into Green Leach Lane closed and a diversion route in place advising to continue to the Liverpool Road junction and turning around using the Vicarage Road roundabout.
