PUPILS at a primary school have been given new hi-vis vests.

The vests were presented to children at Rainford Church of England Primary School by Miller Homes.

The home-building company is committed to safeguarding children in communities surrounding its developments across the North West.

This donation aims to ensure safer journeys for schoolchildren, particularly with the shorter days and reduced daylight during autumn and winter.

This initiative forms part of a long-standing project by Miller Homes.

The company has supported more than 100 primary schools in the North West with similar initiatives over the years.

Miller Homes aims to reach even more children this autumn and winter, providing not only hi-vis vests but also a better understanding of road safety.
