Southport Pleasureland is set to transform into a Mexican festival for Bonfire Night weekend.
The theme park will be adorned with traditional Mexican decoration and offer various attractions to celebrate the occasion.
The event was announced as Visit Southport shared a list of exciting happenings in the town for the upcoming half term and Halloween.
On November 2, the Pleasureland will host a range of entertainment including performances by stilt walkers, fire performers, Batala drummers, and live music.
Stage shows
Stage shows featuring acts like Fuego Chicas, Doctor Diablo, and We Are Un Poco Loco will promise a night filled with fun and excitement for all ages.
A grand finale of fireworks will conclude the festivities, lighting up the night sky with a display of vibrant colours.
Pleasureland's gates will open at 4pm, allowing guests to explore the park and sample some Mexican food before the rides and main stage shows kick off an hour later.
Visitors can purchase an Adventurer Pass which grants unlimited access to all rides for the entire night, or a Spectator Pass which allows them to enjoy the park's sights and sounds along with all the entertainment.
Other activities include fancy dress competitions, family feasts, and a variety of shows and workshops.
Other events to enjoy in the lead-up to Halloween in Southport include Formby Hall for a Halloween Carvery, Waterfront Southport Hotel’s Halloween Disco, or Sefton 4 Good’s Halloween Quiz Night.
There will also be a Spooky Afternoon Tea at the Vincent Hotel followed by an autumn tour of the British Lawnmower Museum.
