ROAD closures are in place close to Newton-le-Willows train station after a lorry has crashed into a skip and then a residential wall.
Police were called around 3pm today, Tuesday, October 22, to reports that a lorry had been involved in a collision on Mill Lane close to Banastre Drive, which has led to a road closure on Mill Lane.
The police have confirmed that no one has been injured in the incident however the road is closed and residents have been advised to avoid the area.
