THE K'S have announced exciting plans for a huge headline show and a new album next summer.

With the Earlestown band's debut album ‘I Wonder If The World Knows?’ reaching Number 3 in the UK charts, the band has gone on to play some of their biggest gigs and festivals to date this year.

Winners of the Best Breakthrough Act at the Northern Music Awards in March, the band has also released details of a new live album, 'Live At Victoria Warehouse’, which is set to release this December.

Following this, the four-piece has now announced plans for a huge outdoor headline gig at Bootle's Salt and Tar venue next year, which will take place around the time of the band's second album.

Launching in April 2024, the canal side Salt and Tar is a venue hoped to be a catalyst for the regeneration of Bootle, with acts like Red Rum Club and Tom Jones performing there this year.

show set to take place on Monday, October 21, The K's announced that fans who pre-order a limited 'first press' copy of their second album will receive pre-sale links to the show ahead of its general sale.

Information on the band's website states that the new album is set to release in summer 2025. Full details about its launch and title is expected in mid-November.
