A DRIVER has been reported after police clocked a vehicle entering the wrong carriageway at a busy junction.
On Tuesday, October 15, Merseyside Police's Roads Policing Unit reported that a driver had entered the wrong carriageway on the East Lancashire Road at Windle Island.
The driver responsible is then reported to have mounted the kerb to correct the dangerous error, all in front of a marked Merseyside Police traffic vehicle with dashcam footage.
No crashes or injuries were reported but the van driver was reported for his actions. This could result in further consequences such as a fixed penalty notice or points on the drivers licence.
