A FAMILY committed to creating something special for Halloween has gone bigger and better with this year's design.
Beginning along Derbyshire Hill Road 12 years ago, and more recently moving to Reynolds Avenue, the Jackson family home has become an increasingly popular attraction over the years, with countless families visiting each October.
Started as a way to get their kids in the Halloween spirit, the Jackson's home has become increasingly exaggerated with each passing year, but more importantly, it has also become an avenue to help good causes in Parr and the wider borough.

With visitors encouraged to drop off donations at the Halloween home, or contribute to an online fundraiser, this money goes towards the Rockets community club, which was set up by dad-of-four Stephen five years ago.
Based at Parr Sports and Community Centre, Stephen launched the club to give kids in Parr an opportunity to get involved in something productive, and it has been offering a series of sports and after-school activities over the past five years.
The money raised from this year's Halloween project will also go towards the Peter Street men's and women's wellbeing club to support mental health, as well as Martin Murray's Wildcard Boxing gym.
Eager to help those across the community, the Jackson's have also raised money for Alder Hey Children's Hospital and other local charities in previous years.
Stephen, 38, said: "Every year we try to add something else to the house, which is the big skeleton this year, because all the kids and families love coming to see the house at Halloween.
"There must have been thousands of people coming to see the house over the years, and it's really nice to do something special for the community and bring some Halloween spirit.
"After the house became so popular, we decided to try and raise a bit of money because there is not much for people to do around Parr, so we want to support the places that offer something and the mental health charities that support people struggling."
