POLICE and fire crews closed part of Haydock Island last night after a car overturned following a crash.
The collision between a grey Ford Fiesta and a White Volkswagen Tiguan was reported to police at 8.20pm, yesterday, October 10.
The incident resulted in only slight injury, according to Merseyside Police and the roads around the East Lancs junction were reopened by 10.10pm.
