A DANGEROUS driver who failed to stop for police and was found with a bayonet in his possession has appeared in court.
Adam Gray, 28, appeared before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 1.
In a previous hearing, Gray had indicated a guilty plea to a charge of dangerous driving.
On February 27 this year, he drove a Volkswagen Passat dangerously on a journey including Haydock Island, the East Lancashire Road, and Newton-le-Willows.
According to a court sheet, Gray drove the vehicle dangerously on Pennington Lane, Common Road, Crow Lane West, Belvedere Road, Queens Drive, Billington Avenue, Porter Avenue, Haydock Island, East Lancashire Road, Haydock Lane, Millfield Lane.

He also pleaded guilty to failing to stop for police when required and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
The 28-year-old also indicated a guilty plea to possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article, namely a M12 bayonet.
Gray, of Warrington Road, Abram, Wigan, was granted unconditional bail as the case was committed to Liverpool Crown Court for sentencing.
Gray will be sentenced by a judge on Tuesday, October 29.
