TOWN centre bar The Little George Quarter has announced a change to its opening hours.
In a statement on the social media, the venue on George Street, St Helens said: "We wanted to let our valued customers know that starting this week, our LGQ bar/café will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
"We will continue to be open as usual from Wednesday to Sunday evenings, and we look forward to welcoming you during those days.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
"Unfortunately, this side of St Helens does not receive the support needed to sustain full-time operations, which has led us to make this decision.
"Thank you for your continued support, and we hope to see you from Wednesday to Sunday!"
The Star reported earlier this year how the venue, regarded as one of St Helens' “hidden gems”, was celebrating its first anniversary after launching last year.

The Little George Quarter (LGQ) is a “cosy” café and wine bar. The intimate venue has a ground floor bar and an upstairs sports bar, which can be hired for functions.
The venture marked a first foray into the hospitality sector for Chris Hobin, who also runs construction firm CJ Hobin Ltd, and owns the LGQ alongside his partner Katie Donohoe.
