POLICE were called to a concern for safety of a man at a bridge over the M6 on Sunday night.
Officers attended the bridge over the M6 on Low Bank Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield, just before 10pm on October 6.
Police said they had received a report of a concern for the safety of a man.
The man was later seen safe and well by officers, a spokesman said.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We were called to the bridge over the M6 on Low Bank Road just before 10pm to a report of a concern for the safety of a man.
"He was later seen safe and well by officers and the incident concluded."
