A POWER cut left residents in a part of St Helens without electricity this afternoon (Wednesday).
The outage affected residents around the area of Windlehurst today.
Properties on City Road, Hard Lane and nearby streets were among those to have been hit.
The matter was reported to Scottish Power at 3.09pm.
Electricity has since been restored to affected homes.
Scottish Power said in a statement as of 5.40pm: "There was a fault in your area which has now been resolved.
"If you are still without power. please call us on: Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and North Shropshire: 0800 001 5400."
