A MAN who was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving in a crash will be sentenced later this month.
Liam Duffy, of Sherdley Road, St Helens, appeared before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Friday, September 27.
Duffy, 33, was charged with causing serious injury to a woman by dangerous driving.
He was accused of causing the injury by driving a blue Range Rover dangerously on Birchley Road, Billinge on Friday, September 9, 2022.
The crash also involved a black Golf Volkswagen.

When the Star reported on the crash at the time, police said they had been called to a report at around 10.55am of a collision.
A woman who was in one of the cars suffered serious injuries and had to be safely removed from a vehicle, police said.
Images showed a blue Range Rover was left overturned after the crash and debris was seen scattered across the road in the area of Martindale Road, which joins with Birchley Road.
In the court hearing, Duffy, indicated a guilty plea to the charge of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
The case was committed for sentence at Liverpool Crown Court, where Duffy will next appear on Friday, October 25.
He was given unconditional bail until then.
