TWO people based in St Helens have been named and shamed by HMRC over unpaid tax.
This is for more than £130,000 of unpaid amounts between them.
HMRC publishes details every three months of people and businesses given financial penalties for failing to comply with tax obligations or deliberately filing errors in tax returns.

Details are only released when a person or business has made at least one deliberate default on more than £25,000.
The latest list was released last week on September 25.
St Helens individuals on list
Included on the list is Liam Lee Beech, described as a groundworker.
Of Acorn Street, Newton-le-Willows, he is said to have defaulted paying £109,539.71 in tax to HMRC between April 6, 2021, and April 5, 2022.
According to the list, his penalty is £74,760.85.
Also on the list is Mark Dixon, of Darent Road, Haydock, described as a labourer.
He is said to have defaulted paying £27,844.29 in tax to HMRC between April 6, 2018, and April 5, 2022.
His penalty is £17,054.60.
Meanwhile, Alex Mark Hughes, of Heath Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield, and formerly of St Helens, whose trade is described as joinery, is included on the list.
Formerly of Ayshire Gardens, he is said to have defaulted on paying £34,743 in tax between April 6, 2021 and April 5, 2022.
His penalty is £24,320.10.
