THERE was a lane closure on the M57 following a crash this afternoon, Monday.
The closure was from junction six to junction four southbound.
This caused traffic delays in the area.

Live traffic tracker INRIX stated as of 3pm: "One lane closed and heavy traffic due to accident on M57 Southbound from J6 A506 Valley Road (Kirkby) to J4 A580 East Lancashire Road (Knowsley)."
The scene has since been cleared, with the lane reopened.
Meanwhile, there was a two-lane closure on the M68 due to a crash earlier today.
